I am an artist, educator, neighbor, and occasional feral cat whisperer. I hold a MA in Art Education from the University of Central Florida and a BFA in Graphic Design from SCAD- the Savannah College of Art and Design.

I am also advocate for folks with disabilities and exceptional needs. I have served on the advisory boards for both Easterseals Florida and 90.7 WMFE, Central Florida's National Public Radio member station.

I enjoy dabbling in my art studio, practicing yoga, biking, and learning Mandarin Chinese. When not busy teaching, I dedicate time to remodeling a small family cabin in Dahlonega, Georgia. My dad was ahead of his time with this cabin being a tiny home of only 600 square feet. It was a passion project of my father’s, which I helped him build in the 1980s.
