quirky meets

joyful

Growing up in the South, where mystery and manners shape everyday life, deeply influenced the way I make meaning of my past and future— imprinting me with a profound sense of honor, hidden stories, and a deep connection to place.

Whether you grew up in a sleepy Southern town or have a curiosity about living in one— you might find a connection with my art.

My work explores a broad range of themes from the power of place and sacred space; to imaginative maps and hand-sewn curiosities.

So if you gravitate towards the quirky, yet still find joy in simple wonder, we likely share common ground.

“A creative life is an amplified life. It’s a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life.”

— Elizabeth Gilbert

passion project

With a couple of calls to tech support and the click of a button, my website is finally live. It’s a work in progress, but I’m excited you’ve landed here.

In 2020, I came across an essay that highlighted the value of passion projects. It really struck a chord with me, and I realized how fulfilling it is to dedicate time to things we love—whether it’s drawing, writing, or learning a new skill. Starting an art business as a teacherpreneur became my own passion project, and four years later, it has taken off.

art manifesto

My studio manifesto serves as my guiding North Star, steering my journey through the realms of faith, work-life balance, and the art and curiosities I bring to life. These principles converge at the very core of my studio, shaping the heart and soul of my creative space.

personal credo

The word credo is Latin for I believe. My personal credo serves as a simple declaration of faith.

I am an artist, educator, and neighbor.

A little joy or a little mischief, whatever your style— stay updated on my studio happenings.
